Chillow Cuff

Chillow Cuff is knit with silky smooth hand-dyed Valdani Perle Cotton. Twisted Bugle and seed beads are pre-strung onto the yarn and slipped as you knit. Chillow Cuff coordinates with Chillow Collar, May ‘23’s Lola’s Choice Kit!

Version 1 (aka Chillaxing) is simpler. Beads are slipped in front of stitches to create an undulating effect, like smooth, calm waters.
Version 2 (aka Chasing) is a bit more challenging. I use my favorite beaded double-sided lace technique alternating with slipped beads.

MATERIALS IN KIT
Valdani, Size 5 Perle Cotton; 100% cotton
65 – 190 Size 8 Japanese seed beads (A beads)
6 – 18 2.7 x 12 mm twisted bugle beads (B beads)
Magnetic clasp
Dental floss threader or beading needle (for stringing on beads)

NEEDED
US Size 1 [2.25 mm] needles
Tapestry needle (for attaching clasp)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Single Wrap- Approximately .75 inch [2 cm] at widest point x 5.25 (6, 6.75, 7.5, 8.25) inches [13 (15, 17, 19, 21) cm] around (with clasp)
The single wrap should be about a half inch [1 cm] smaller than the circumference of your wrist.
Double Wrap- Approximately .75 inch [2 cm] wide x 11 (12.5, 14, 15.5, 17) inches [28 (32, 36, 39, 43) cm] around (with clasp)
The double wrap should be about twice the circumference of your wrist.
