Roll in the Hay Kits are sold out!  SIGN UP NOW and don't miss out on future Lola's Choice kits!

You’ll love how neat, clean, and downright fun this experience with Wool Tinctures dye is—no fuss, no mess, just pure joy. Your kit includes buttonhole thread for wrapping your yarn, and Lola’s fav tool, a zip tie that will keep your skein in check during the dyeing process. You know Lola has been dyeing to send you one of these since her first kit!

Once your yarn is dry, let it take the wheel as you knit up a simple cowl worked in the round. Your cowl has a garter stitch edging and stockinette stitch body sprinkled with Laura’s signature hay bale stitch. Your yarn will tell you when it’s time to roll in the hay, thanks to the magic of assigned pooling. The pattern comes with extensive tutorials to support your dyeing and knitting adventure—prepare for a unique experience, Lola Style!

And let’s not forget the yarn itself: an organic, durable, and luxurious blend of merino, linen, and silk that drapes beautifully and feels divine against the skin. This is a unique base I sourced from Germany just for YOU that soaks up the dye beautifully! Plus, there’s a little nerdy treat tucked inside—I bet you aren’t surprised that they are Lola’s latest obsession!
