Knit from the top down, with german short rows to create the cloche shaping, Barcelola features a mosaic beaded band, and a two-layer short row brim that uses Lola’s Two-Timing Technique to avoid any seaming!

Pre-strung square Japanese beads in four harmonious colors dance along the band like Gaudí himself planned them. Oh, and the contrasting color lining? A little wink that says, sí, this cloche has more to it than first meets the eye. One thing’s for sure—you’ll never be bored-elona with this project.

One set US Size 4 [3.5 mm] double-pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
Ndl A- One US Size 4 [3.5 mm] 16 inch [41 cm] circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge (body of cloche)
Ndl B- One US Size 3 [3.25 mm] 16 inch [41 cm] circular needle, or one size smaller than needed to obtain gauge (beaded band and brim lining)
Ndl C- One US Size 5 [3.75 mm] 16 inch [41 cm] circular needle, or one size larger than needed to obtain gauge (brim)
