Lolancha Sweater

The Lolancha Sweater pattern will be available in Fall of 2023, we will have a KAL!

Lolancha Sweater is knit with Manchelopis, an unspun yarn from the Manchega Sheep in Spain. This yarn creates a fabric that is lofty, warm, and light; perfect for a cozy bottom-up yoke sweater!

The yoke is worked with the Lolancha Stitch (yup, my alter ego Lola named that) that is a highly amusing textured stitch that involves slipping stitches and then dipping to “grab” them.
The pattern includes multiple video links to help you have success knitting your own Lolancha Sweater.

Manchelopis

Yarn I Used:
WoolDreamers, Manchelopis, (100% Manchega Wool; 251 yd [230 m]/ 3.52 oz [100 g]);
Gris Claro  2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5) wheels

Ndl A- US Size 10.5 [6.5 mm] double pointed needles or 1 long circular needle, or one size larger than needed to obtain gauge [for sleeves]
Ndl B- US Size 10 [6 mm] double pointed needles or 1 long circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge [for sleeves]
Ndl C- US Size 10.5 [6.5 mm] 24-inch [60 cm] and 32-inch [80 cm] circular needles, or one size larger than needed to obtain gauge
[for body]
Ndl D- US Size 10 [6 mm] 24-inch [60 cm], or 32-inch [80 cm] cm circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge [for body]
1 stitch marker
Removable stitch marker or safety pin, scrap yarn, tapestry needle

GAUGE
15 stitches x 22 rnds = 4 inches [10 cm] in Stockinette Stitch with sliver held double, unblocked on smaller ndl
13 stitches x 18 rnds = 4 inches [10 cm] in Stockinette Stitch with sliver held double, blocked on smaller ndl
