Proper Etiquette

Proper Etiquette is worked toe-up with a triangular shaped heel gusset. A line of yarn-overs defines the gusset making it easy to follow the heel shaping. Pattern is written for multiple sizes and instructions are given for lengthening the foot if necessary. Diamond lattice lace is worked on the top of the foot and around the leg. The lace pattern is a simple 8 round repeat, easy to get the hang of and memorize! Originally published in Creative Knitting, Spring 2010.

Set of 5 US size 2 [2.75 mm] ndls or size needed to obtain gauge
Set of 5 US size 1 [2.5 mm] ndls or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry ndl

Size
Small [Large]. Shown in size Small.
To fit: 7.75” [8.75”] foot circumference.

Gauge
7.5 sts / 10 rnds = 1” in st st in the rnd on larger ndl
