Skywalker is a semi-circular shawl, worked from the top down. You start with 9 stitches picked up around a garter stitch rectangle, and work out with increase rows loosely based on Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Pi-Shawl formula.
Lace patterns are placed in between these increase rows. The stitches start out quite easy and get a bit more challenging as the project progresses and you are ready to learn new skills!
MATERIALS
You will need approx. 400 yards of fingering or lace weight yarn. A luxury yarn you have been saving for an extra special reason would be PERFECT for this project!
