Boublay

Bonjour, Boublay! A baby boomerang bandana with a beaded Boublay border. The perfect gift-giving, stash-busting, on-the-go knitting project. With its unique boomerang shape, this scarflette offers a fresh twist on the classic neckerchief. It’s your new cozy, chic flight-attendant-inspired scarf.

Boublay is November's Lola’s Choice kit and includes everything you need—two colors of Size 6 Japanese seed beads, super floss for beadplacement, a detailed video tutorialon knitting bobbles, and a pattern PDF download code — that’s enough supplies to make two Boublays!  SIGN UP NOW if you want to join my small knitted kit club and knit some Boublay's too... there are just a few November kits left.

I purposefully don't have photos on this page as I don't want to spoil anything for members who haven't gotten their kits yet... go HERE to see photos of Boublay!

Knit with self-striping yarn, Boublay brings playful color changes to life while keeping the knitting simple and meditative. Boublay starts with just a few stitches at one tip, gradually increasing for a satisfying and straightforward knit. The pattern has a four-row repeat is easily memorized, making it the perfect travel companion for on-the-go knitting. And for a touch of bling? Add optional beads along the border to create a delicate, beaded Boublay edge.

Here's a sweet little Knit Tip showing you how I like to knit Bobbles (and how to add beads to them!).
