Creatrix was a Mystery KAL in Spring of 2017, it is now available as “regular” shawl pattern!
Creatrix, like many of Laura’s patterns, starts in a simple but unusual way.
It is worked from the center out using Judy’s Magic Cast On.
After a few garter stitch rows, eyelet sections are worked from the center out to create the top of the shawl.
Then stitches are picked up along the edges of this central motif and the rest of the shawl is worked down from here.
Sections of the shawl incorporate Shetland Lace with beads. (Beads are always optional!)
Finally a Beaded Bind Off is worked… there are two options for this bind off, a Picot bind off and a Beaded Lace bind off, you choose which you love more!
