Medallion

Medallion is worked in two halves and grafted at the center. The bottom edge creates gentle scallops that provide anchor points for the clasps. Beads slipped up at the sides of the wrong side rows accentuate the edging and  beaded yarnovers add a bit of sparkle to your knitted wardrobe. Medallion is also July's pattern in Adorn Anew.

15 yards of lace weight yarn

Three US Size 2 [2.75 mm] double pointed needles
64 (80) Size 8 delica glass seed beads, color A (on yarnovers)
48 (60) Size 8 glass seed beads, color B (for border)
Dental Floss Threader (for stringing on beads)
Tapestry Needle
2 Snap or Hook and Eye Clasps
Sewing thread and needle to sew on clasps

Gauge
34 sts x 48 rows= 4 inches in st st, unblocked
