Aventina is a sumptuous scarf, oversized so that you may wrap it around yourself more than once and still have fabric to hang down.  Aventina is worked in two halves and grafted at the middle.  Beads are placed onto double decreases with a crochet hook OR dental floss.

	Materials
	Schaefer Yarn Audrey (50% silk/ 50% wool, 4 oz [112 g] / 700 yds [640 m]) or other fingering weight yarn; approx 700 yards
	
	Size 7 [4.5 mm] needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
	Cable Needle
	Length of smooth scrap yarn: approx 24” fingering weight
	552 Size 6 glass seed beads; approx 46 grams
	Super Floss or Small Crochet Hook for placing beads

	13 inches wide x 72 inches long (after blocking)
